How to Manage my Wallet & Default Payment Methods

We are excited to introduce the Notch Wallet, a new feature that allows you to manage your payment methods directly in the Payment Portal. Accessible through the Settings menu, the Wallet lets you add or remove payment methods and designate a default payment method.

  • To add a payment method to your Notch Wallet

    • Navigate to Settings - go to "Wallet"

    • Add a payment method

You can add as many payment methods as you want.

  • Assign a payment method as default

    • Navigate to Settings - go to "Wallet"

    • If you have at least 2 methods of payment, click on the more menu […] of the payment method you want, and select Make default. This will become your new default method of payment.

  • Removing a payment method

    • Navigate to Settings - go to "Wallet"

    • If you have at least 2 methods of payment, click on the more menu […] of the payment method you want, and select Remove.

Supplier default method of payment

The Notch Wallet provides more flexibility in managing your payments to Suppliers. In addition to setting a default payment method, you can now specify a Supplier Default payment method for each Supplier. When a supplier default payment method is set, Notch will initiate payments against the Supplier Default payment method instead of Default payment method.

You will only see the supplier default and default payment methods. All other payment methods stored in the wallet will remain hidden from the Suppliers.

  • To assign vendor default payment method to a Supplier

    • Navigate to your Suppliers list

    • Select a specific supplier and navigate to Payment Method tab.

    • Select a supplier default payment method.

    • If there is only 1 payment method available, you will need to add additional payment methods to your wallet first.
