Benefits: Convenient & Faster Cash Flow
Credit card payments are typically settled and deposited into you bank account for payout within a few business days, offering quicker access to funds compared to other payment methods like cheques.
Cons: Processing Fees for Businesses & Chargeback risks
Businesses must pay processing fees for each credit card transaction. Card payments are routed through a network of intermediaries, each adding their fee, making them more expensive than bank payments. These fees vary depending on the card type and transaction size. But worry not! Notch has the "Surcharge" feature, which allows you to pass the fees on to your customers.
